Supporting and inspiring young people aged 11–18 to grow in confidence, achieve their goals, and feel part of a strong, supportive community.

Aspire 2 Succeed is a registered charity (1189026), founded in 2015 to serve young people and families across Derby. We exist to create safe spaces where young people feel valued, heard, and empowered to reach their full potential.

At the heart of our work is community. We bring together young people, families, volunteers, schools, and local partners to provide meaningful opportunities that build skills, raise aspirations, and strengthen wellbeing. 

What We Do

We provide mentoring, academic support, leadership development, and enrichment activities that help young people thrive both in and beyond the classroom. From GCSE support and post-16 guidance to sports, trips, and confidence-building workshops, we offer a welcoming environment where young people can develop academically, socially, and personally.

Our dedicated volunteers act as positive role models, offering encouragement, guidance, and consistency. We work closely with parents and carers to ensure young people are supported at every stage of their journey.

Rooted in Community

We are proud to be part of Derby’s vibrant and diverse community. Over the years, we have built strong partnerships with local leaders, faith groups, schools, and the Universities of Derby and Nottingham. These connections allow us to broaden horizons and create pathways for young people to explore education, employment, and leadership opportunities.

Our work is shaped by the voices of the young people we serve. We meet them where they are, support them on their terms, and celebrate their achievements together.
