For us, the post-16 workshop sessions were an interesting insight into the future of the paths we are to pursue.
The workshops covered a variety of activities and lessons, from interviews to learning about universities to managing costs and budgets. Carol is able to deliver these sessions very well, she is able to cover the content in each session well and be very informative.
One particular workshop that I learnt a lot in was the costs of university workshop. In this session we discussed the costs of university, ranging from the course itself, to the costs of materials of the course (such as books). I found that session particularly informative, as it was very in-depth about the costs associated with just not university, but other costs that are involved in going to university, such as costs for social events, gifts, even holidays.
Overall, the post- 16 workshops provided us with a lot of useful knowledge for a variety of experiences for the future.
